Position

As an entry-level engineer at Juno, you’ll support electrical engineering tasks across various projects. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals ready to build technical skills, engage with multidisciplinary teams, and grow within a company that values mentorship, innovation, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Contribute to designs, system analyses, and technical calculations.
  • Prepare, review, and update technical documents, specifications, and drawings, ensuring consistency with Juno’s standards.
  • Work with other disciplines to support the integration of electrical systems into comprehensive project plans.
  • Participate in occasional site visits to observe installations and assist project teams, gaining real-world insights.
  • Uphold Juno’s standards for accuracy, safety, and compliance across all project activities, contributing to our legacy of excellence.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Foundational knowledge of industrial electrical distribution and controls systems.
  • Proficiency with applicable software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and the ability to apply these tools in technical documentation.

This position will require you to:

  • Work accurately and efficiently, with a strong commitment to quality.
  • Work well with team members and clearly communicate ideas and information.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and professional development in a collaborative environment.
  • Handle multiple tasks and prioritize progress in a fast-paced setting.

Desirable assets include:

  • Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code and general industry standards.
  • Basic experience with drafting or analytical software like AutoCAD and Bluebeam or ETAP.
  • Internship or co-op experience in an industrial or construction environment.
  • Knowledge of control systems or instrumentation concepts.

Location and Travel Requirements

This position is based in Calgary, Alberta, with flexible remote work options available. Occasional travel for site visits may be required.
